Student actors will work with scenes from "Othello,” and"Hamlet," which have been edited in order to produce a cohesive performance piece.

The rehearsal process will be structured as a creative ensemble and all students will be involved in all scenes.

We will incorporate acapella vocals, using excerpts from celtic songs and also Dido and Aeneas.

This class will culminate in 2 performances which will focus on the growth of the actors and their understanding of the art form.

STAY TUNED FOR OTHER COURSES!

Thursdays 1pm-3pm — Sept 28-Oct 2

Continuing where the beginning classes leaves off.

Here we start cementing the principles you’ve been learning: listening, saying yes to things, dropping your agenda and staying in the moment, and so on. We start exploring the physicality of improv and what goes into creating characters.

We also go deeper into what makes for a promising scene start and why some scenes flow and others are more challenging to navigate.

This is for continuing ZipLine improv students. If you have prior experience elsewhere, please contact us for a discussion so we can make sure you get into the right class!
